When I took a boat to go along a canal, I read a caution sign written in four languages.
“Keep your hands inside the boat !” is English.
“Bitte die Hände im Boot halten !“ is German.
Handen in de boot houden aub !“ is Dutch.
As Dutch is similar with German, I could understand three of the languages.
Though the fourth language was French, I couldn’t understand it.
I found that French was completely different from English, German and Dutch.
